FAQs
Helpful Info
What kind of music is played in classes?
In class, teachers are required to use clean music that is either instrumental, classical, or Christian. It's important to us that the girls have a clean environment to learn the beautiful art of dance.
Do I need previous experience?
For our younger classes, we typically place dancers based on age. Older dancers are placed based on past experiences, age, and current technique. We want all our girls to be challenged but not overwhelmed.
What do I need to bring?
Dance shoes, Dance bag, Water Bottle, and a good attitude! Come ready in dance attire and hair up :)
What kind of costumes do student wear at recital?
Just like the music we play, providing costumes that are age appropriate and modest is a priority. All teachers costume choices go through the director to insure nothing is suggestive or on the line when it comes to modesty.
Is there a waiting room?
Yes! We have a waiting area, bathrooms, and a playroom area for siblings.
How many students are in each class?
We cap most classes at 12 girls. For our creative movement we look to keeping class size around 10!
Are we allowed to watch class?
We don’t allow parents to sit in during classes. We will have two parent observation days where we welcome parents to come and watch everything the girls have been working on. There are glass doors that separate the waiting area from the dance space so you can see inside while the girls are in class each week.
