Ages 1.5-3

Mommy and Me is a magical bonding experience where moms and their little ones can share in the joy of movement, music, and creativity together.  Led by nurturing instructors with a passion for early childhood development, each session is carefully crafted to engage young minds and bodies through playful exploration of ballet basics.  This class is designed for little ones 1.5-3 years of age to start learning alongside their moms what dance is all about. Join is as we twirl, leap and dance our way into a world of imagination and dance.  

*** Note: Moms are welcome to wear whatever is most comfortable for them.  Ballet shoes are encouraged.  Littles ones should wear pink ballet shoes, tights, and leotard/skirts***

Ages 3-4

Our Creative Movement class, tailored for 3-4 year olds, provides an enchanting 45-minute journey into the world of dance. Here, young dancers are introduced to basic ballet terminology while gradually familiarizing themselves with the structure of a dance class. Each session is brimming with engaging activities, including the incorporation of scarves, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for every child. Through the fusion of imaginative movement and foundational ballet principles, we aim to foster a deep-seated love for dance from the earliest stages of development.

** Note: Dancers must be potty trained to participate in this class.**

Ages 4-5

Our 4-5 Ballet/Tap class offers young dancers an engaging hour of instruction, split evenly between 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of tap. Designed as a natural progression from our Creative Movement class, this program strikes a balance between enjoyment and skill development. While still incorporating enjoyable activities, the focus shifts towards instilling fundamental techniques in both ballet and tap dancing. It's an ideal setting for young dancers to further explore their passion for movement while laying the groundwork for future proficiency in these disciplines.

Ages 5-7

Ballet 5-7 is an engaging hour-long ballet class designed to introduce young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet while fostering a love for movement and expression. Throughout the class, dancers familiarize themselves with ballet terminology and become accustomed to the structure of a dance class, which includes warm-up exercises, center work, and movements across the floor. Our aim is to instill a passion for dance in our students from an early age, ensuring that each class concludes with a delightful, movement-based activity that leaves them excited to return for more.

Ages 5-7 

The Ballet/Tap 5-7  class offers a dynamic and accelerated introduction to dance, making them an ideal starting point for newcomers to the art form. This combined class provides a unique opportunity to explore both ballet and tap, enriching students' understanding of these two distinct dance styles. 

Ages 6-7

The Ballet 6-7  class offers a dynamic and accelerated introduction to dance, making them an ideal starting point for newcomers to the art form. In the Ballet 6-7 class, young dancers embark on an engaging hour-long journey into the world of ballet. Here, they delve into the foundational principles of ballet technique while cultivating a deep appreciation for movement and self-expression. Throughout the class, students immerse themselves in the language of ballet, gradually acclimating to the structure of a dance class, which includes warm-up, center and across the floor exercises.

Ages 5-7

Primary Acro offers an exhilarating fusion of dance, acrobatics, and tumbling tailored for 5-7 year olds. This dynamic class serves as an introduction to essential tumbling skills, seamlessly integrating them with lively dance-based movements and activities. From mastering bridges to exploring pre-cartwheels and cartwheels, students dive into a diverse range of skills including balancing techniques and rolls. Each session is designed to captivate young minds, fostering confidence and coordination while nurturing a love for movement. Through a blend of structured instruction and playful exploration, Primary Acro provides a supportive environment where students can develop fundamental acrobatic abilities in a fun and engaging manner.

Beginning Pointe/Pre-Pointe

Ages 7-9

Ballet level 1 class introduces basic classical movements while building strength, flexibility, rhythmic skills, and artistry. Ballet vocabulary and technique is taught through barre, center floor work, and movements across the floor.

Ages 9-13

Ballet Level 2 pushes dancers to further their ballet knowledge by applying new terminology, barre work, more complex combinations in center and across the floor, as well as a growing artistry.  Dancers are taught proper dancer etiquette in preparation for future dancing ventures.

Ages 11-14

This class goes beyond the basics, and begins to provide more advanced training for dancers striving for excellence in Ballet. To maintain high standards of training, all participants must be enrolled in another ballet class(es) outside of Ballet 2-3.  This class is also focused on our older dancers moving from beginning ballet striving to progress to Ballet 3 quickly. 

*** Note: Enrollment in Ballet 2-3 is by invitation only.  Dancers must demonstrate a high level of knowledge and commitment and be enrolled in at least one other ballet class outside of this class in order to be eligible.***

Ages 11+

Ballet Level 3 pushes dancers to further their ballet knowledge by applying new terminology, barre work, more complex combinations in center and across the floor, as well as a growing artistry.  Dancers are taught proper dancer etiquette in preparation for future dancing ventures and auditions.  In Level 3, dancers prepare for pointe assesments if not already on pointe.  

Ages 11+

**Invite Only**

Pre-Pointe 2-3 is a class that utilizes simple barre exercise to build strength and stability for dancers preparing for pointe or starting pointe.  Correct posture, strong legs and feet with combinations facing the barre are essential before moving to center.  Ankle strength and alignment are a main focus in this class.  Therabands are used for strength exercises.  Students will be expected to work on these exersices at home during the week. 

** Note: Students must be enrolled in at least two ballet technique classes during the week to be enrolled in this class**

Ballet Variations

Ages 13+

This intermediate-advanced class,  requires a strong foundation in ballet technique and a mastery of skills taught in level 3. Throughout the course, students refine their technique, deepen their artistry, and cultivate a profound understanding of classical ballet principles. To uphold the standards of training in this class, participants must be enrolled in multiple ballet classes outside of this level, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their dance education. Ballet 4-5  provides a supportive and inspiring environment for dancers to push their boundaries, refine their skills, and reach new heights of excellence in the art of ballet.

Ages 13+

Pointe 4-5 a class tailored for experienced dancers with at least two years of pointe experience, capable of completing a full technique class en pointe. This intermediate class focuses on refining technique, strength, and stability while expanding skills such as pirouettes, jumps on pointe, intricate footwork, and dynamic artistry. Students will refine their musicality and expressiveness while pushing their technical abilities to new levels.

Ages 13+

**Invite Only**

This invite-only class is tailored for dancers who have been on pointe for 2+ years and are eager to dive deeper into the world of ballet variations and character portrayal.  This class offers an opportunity for dedicated dancers to refine their performance skills and explore the artistry of classical ballet.  Dancers will immerse themselves in the intricacies of classical variations, learning how to interpret and embody the essence of each character with authenticity and grace.  This class is on pointe and dancers must be dedicated during the week in pointe technique classes in order to participate in this pointe technique heavy class.

Ages 7-11

Contemporary is a dynamic and versatile dance form that blends elements of various movement styles, including modern dance, ballet, and jazz. Characterized by its fluidity, expressiveness, and emphasis on emotional storytelling, contemporary dance encourages dancers to explore a wide range of movement qualities, from flowing and lyrical to angular and percussive. This style often prioritizes creativity, authenticity, and personal interpretation, allowing dancers to convey their emotions and experiences through movement.

Ages 13+

Contemporary 4 is an intermediate/advanced-level dance class designed to further develop students' understanding and proficiency in contemporary dance techniques. Building upon the foundational elements learned in level 3, this class dives deeper into the expressive and fluid movement vocabulary characteristic of contemporary dance.

Ages 7-9

Welcome to Acro 1, where young enthusiasts embark on an exciting journey of discovery through the world of acrobatics. Geared towards beginners aged 6-8, this class introduces foundational skills essential for mastering the art of acro. From mastering the basics of cartwheels and handstands to perfecting the technique of roundoffs, students will develop balance, strength, and coordination in a supportive and dynamic environment. Through structured instruction and engaging activities, participants will also explore other fundamental acrobatic movements such as forward rolls, backward rolls, and bridges. Acro 1 fosters a sense of accomplishment and confidence as students progress in their abilities, laying a solid groundwork for future acrobatic endeavors. Join us as we flip, twist, and soar towards new heights in this exhilarating introduction to the world of acrobatics!

Ages 8-12

Welcome to Acro 2, the next level in the thrilling journey of acrobatics! Building upon the foundational skills acquired in Acro 1, this class is designed for students aged 8-10 who are ready to elevate their acrobatic prowess to new heights. From perfecting more advanced techniques such as one-handed cartwheels and handstand variations to mastering aerials and back handsprings, students will be challenged to push their boundaries and explore the full potential of their abilities. With a focus on precision and technique, students will also refine their execution of foundational movements like roundoffs and backbends, while also exploring new elements such as front walkovers and dive rolls. Through dedicated practice and supportive guidance, Acro 2 provides a stimulating environment where students can continue to grow and flourish in their acrobatic journey, fostering confidence, determination, and a passion for movement. Join us as we soar to new heights and unlock the next level of acrobatic excellence in Acro 2!

Ages 7-9

Lyrical 1 is perfect for beginners and those looking to solidify their foundation in this expressive art form. Throughout this class, students will embark on a journey blending classical ballet and jazz techniques with a touch of modern flair. Each session begins with a comprehensive warm-up, followed by isolations and stretches to enhance flexibility and body awareness. Across-the-floor progressions help students build strength, coordination, and spatial awareness while mastering fundamental movement patterns. In choreography combinations, dancers will explore the soft, storytelling qualities of music, learning to convey emotion through fluid, graceful movement. Level 1 Lyrical Dance emphasizes developing a strong technical base while nurturing musicality and expressiveness, setting the stage for a captivating dance journey.

Ages 9-13

Elevate your lyrical dance journey with our Level 2 class, designed for dancers who have mastered the basics and are ready to dive deeper into the art of lyrical expression. Building upon the foundation laid in Level 1, this class further refines technique and artistic interpretation. Warm-ups are tailored to challenge and strengthen dancers, preparing them for the intricacies of lyrical movement. Isolations and stretches continue to enhance flexibility and body awareness, while across-the-floor progressions introduce more complex sequences and transitions. In choreography combinations, dancers explore advanced musicality and emotional depth, learning to seamlessly weave technique with storytelling. Level 2 Lyrical Dance places a strong emphasis on grace, fluidity, and expressiveness, empowering dancers to connect deeply with the music and communicate powerful emotions through movement.

Creative Worship

Ages 7-9

Welcome to our Level 1 Combined Tap/Jazz class, where the vibrant worlds of tap and jazz dance unite in an exciting fusion of movement and music. Perfect for beginners, this class offers an introduction to both disciplines. Students will explore rhythmic patterns in tap and learn foundational jazz techniques, all while building strength, flexibility, and coordination. With a focus on musicality, style, and technique, this class fosters a love for dance in a supportive and vibrant atmosphere. Join us as we tap into the joy of dance and jazz up our steps together!

Ages 9-13

Step into the rhythm and precision of our Level 2 Tap Dance class, where students delve deeper into the art of tap dancing. Geared towards those with some experience or those who have completed our Level 1 class, this session focuses on refining technique and expanding repertoire. Dancers will explore intricate rhythms, syncopated patterns, and dynamic combinations, honing their skills in both classic and contemporary tap styles. With emphasis on clarity, speed, and musicality, students will develop a strong foundation in tap technique while fostering creativity and expression. Join us as we tap our way to new levels of mastery and rhythmic joy!

Ages 9-13

Welcome to our Level 2 Jazz Dance class, where students explore the dynamic and expressive world of jazz dance. Designed for those with some experience or graduates of our Level 1 class, this session builds upon foundational techniques to further develop style, musicality, and performance quality. Dancers will learn a variety of jazz styles, from classic to contemporary, as they move into energetic combinations, fluid movements, and expressive choreography. With a focus on strength, flexibility, and precision, students will refine their technique while discovering their own unique flair and personality as jazz dancers. Join us as we groove, kick, and turn our way to new heights of jazz dance excellence!

Level 1 and 2

Creative Worship is a unique 30-minute class tailored to dancers seeking to cultivate a deeper relationship with the Lord and applying it to their dancing. It is important to note that creative worship is not a performance-focused class and does not participate in recitals.  Instead, it’s an environment where dancers grow in their faith and cultivate a heart of worship.  Expect to have themed classes with a biblical focus followed by a dance activity to help dancers connect with the Lord and one another.
