5-7 Ballet

Ages 3-4

Creative movement is a 45 minute class for 3-4 year olds.  In this class, dancers learn basic ballet terms and begin to become use to a dance class structure.  Scarves and fun activities are a part of every class!  We use creative movement activities to support ballet basics.  We want to instill a love for dance in our girls especially at such a young age! 

Ages 4-5

Ballet 4-5 is a hour ballet class.  In this class, dancers learn basic ballet terms and begin to become use to a dance class structure.  Scarves and fun activities are a part of every class!  We use creative movement activities to support technical training and vocabulary.  We want to instill a love for dance in our girls especially at such a young age! 

Ages 4-5

4-5 Ballet/Tap is a hour class for our 4-5 year olds (30 minutes ballet and 30 minutes tap).  This class is a step up from Creative Movement where girls still have fun activities but begin to focus more on learning basic technique for both Ballet and Tap.     

Ages 5-7

Ballet 5-7 is a hour ballet class.  In this class, dancers learn ballet terms and get use to a dance class structure.  Class structure consist of warm up, center, and across the floor movements.  We want to instill a love for dance in our girls especially at such a young age!  Every class ends with a fun movement based activity.

Primary Acro

Ages 5-7 & Ages 6-7

Ballet/Tap 5-7 and 6-7 are faster paced and a great place to start if you are new to dance.  This combined class gives a great opportunity to experience these two dance forms.

Ages 5-7

Primary acro is a dance acrobatic and tumbling class for 5-7 year olds.  This class teaches basic tumbling skills and pairs it with fun dance based movement and activities.  Some skills include bridges, pre-cartwheels/cartwheels, balancing based skills, rolls etc...

Pointe 3

Ages 7-9

Ballet level 1 class introduces basic classical movements while building strength, flexibility, rhythmic skills, and artistry. Ballet vocabulary and technique is taught through barre, center floor work, and movements across the floor.

Ages 8-10

Ballet Level 2 pushes dancers to further their ballet knowledge by applying new terminology, barre work, more complex combinations in center and across the floor, as well as a growing artistry.  Dancers are taught proper dancer etiquette in preparation for future dancing ventures.

Ages 9-12

Ballet Level 2-3 pushes dancers to further their ballet knowledge by applying new terminology, barre work, more complex combinations in center and across the floor, as well as a growing artistry.  Dancers are taught proper dancer etiquette in preparation for future dancing ventures or potential auditions.  In Level 2, dancers begin to prepare for pointe work through growing in this class.  

Ages 11+

Ballet Level 3 pushes dancers to further their ballet knowledge by applying new terminology, barre work, more complex combinations in center and across the floor, as well as a growing artistry.  Dancers are taught proper dancer etiquette in preparation for future dancing ventures or potential auditions.  In Level 3, dancers prepare for pointe assesments if not already on pointe.  

Ages 12+

Pointe Level 3 is a hour pointe class that includes barre exercise to build strength and stability for dancers on Pointe.  Class includes center and across the floor work.  Correct posture, strong legs and feet with combinations at the barre and in center are expected.  Dancers should have one year of experience on pointe before enrolling in this class.

Adult Ballet

Ages 7-11

Stretching and Conditioning is a 45 minute class that equip's dancers to grow exponentially in their technique and flexibility.    By strengthening the body's core (abdominal and back muscles) while developing coordination, balance, and alignment will improve dancers technique and performance in all dance forms.  Strong muscles and flexibility are vital for protecting the body and of course improving dance skills! 

Ages 11-15

Ages 11-15

Pre-Pointe 2-3 is a class that utilizes simple barre exercise to build strength and stability for dancers preparing for Pointe.  Correct posture, strong legs and feet with combinations facing the barre are essential before moving to center.  Ankle strength and alignment are a main focus in this class.  Therabands are used for strength exercises.  Students will be expected to work on these excersices at home during the week. 

18+

Adult ballet is a beginning ballet class focus to adults.  Anyone 18+ is welcome to join.  Standing barre work and center floor exercises will be given to enhance coordination, strength, balance and flexibility.  This class is drop in and can be catered to dancers with a ballet background or for new dancers.

Tap/Jazz

Ages 7-9

Acro is a hour dance acrobatic class for dancers ranging from 7-9 years of age.  This class focuses on skills such as cartwheels, bridges, round offs, handstands, L stands, splits, etc...  These skills are paired with dance aspects in class. 

Ages 11-15

Lyrical dance combines techniques of classical ballet and jazz, as well as some modern elements. Classes include warm up, isolations, stretches, across the floor progressions, and choreography combinations. Lyrical creates a soft style that emphasizes the storytelling quality of music.  An emphasis is placed on grace and fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement.

Ages 11-15

Contemporary is a hour dance class that combines ballet, modern, and jazz elements that results in a creative fluid and expressive dance style.   An emphasis is placed on grace and fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement. 

Ages 11-15

In this combined class, students concentrate on developing technique, flexibility, sense of rhythm, and overall coordination. Jazz class includes proper warm-ups and stretches for the body combined with across-the-floor progressions,  and combinations.  Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style, and sound.
